We had a fantastic stay at this cozy B&B situated in a quiet area, just a short walk from the seafront and close to many restaurants. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful with good local knowledge. Our room was spotless, with all the amenities we needed and a lovely view. the breakfast was excellent, with great gluten-free options. We can definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting the South West Coast.
The bed was a bit too firm for our liking.

The owners were extremely friendly and I was quickly made to feel at home. Breakfast (full english) was excellent with a good choice. Adequate off road parking. OK with my late comings and goings due to local work requirements. Excellent WiFi - straight on with no hassle.
I missed a tv in the room, but David did explain the reason why they decided not to have them (noise disturbing others in nearby room). Room was a liittle on the small side (their only single) but did the job for a one night stay over.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on the coast. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, and their recommendations for places to eat in the area were spot on. Additionally, the location was very close to all shops, and the hotel facilities were excellent.
Nothing all good.

The owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and accomodating. The location near to Babbacombe beach and walking paths was good and if you have a late night football match involving Torquay United you couldn't really get any closer. Value for money was also good.
The shower was a little small but that was due to my body shape not the fault of the hotel!

Great location near amenities and scenic walks. Friendly and accommodating hosts who provided tea and biscuits upon arrival. Spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds and tasty breakfast options.
Limited parking options. Some noise from nearby street traffic.

We had a warm welcome from the owners and they were really helpful in recommending things to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious and our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is in a peaceful location, not far from the beach. a great place to stay.
Would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

We were just a short walk away from the Babbacombe seafront, where we spent hours soaking up the sun and having a blast. We also loved that the hotel was close to Cary Park, where we played tennis and bowling like pros. It was the perfect spot for a fun-filled vacation with friends!
The only thing that could have made our stay even better is if the hotel had organized more nightlife activities for young party-goers like us. But hey, with everything else being so awesome, we still had an amazing time!

In general, the Xmas experience at the hotel was enjoyable. the breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked food and great coffee. the location was perfect, as it was located near the beach and various shops and restaurants. the room was clean and tidy.
The room was quite cramped, with the bathroom being a closet-like space. there was poor sound insulation, which meant that noise from other guests and the surrounding area could be heard quite easily.

Aveland House Babbacombe was a lovely place to stay in. the owners, Jacqui and David, were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our three, night stay. the rooms were clean and well, presented, and the whole place had a homely atmosphere. the location was excellent, with Babacombe beach and facilities just a 5, minute walk away. We also enjoyed walking into Torquay center, which took us about 15 minutes.
I would highly recommend Aveland House and Babacombe as a great place to stay and explore. Cons: Nothing to fault.

Aveland House in Babbacombe was the perfect place to stay during my backpacking trip. It is located in a quiet area, close to Torquay United football ground and just a short walk to the lovely small town of Babacombe. The room I stayed in was spotless and the bathroom was immaculately clean. The service provided by the owners, Jacqui and David, was exceptional, with their attention to detail and friendly nature. The breakfast served was top-notch, with locally sourced ingredients. The hotel also had two lounges where guests could relax and socialize. a fantastic experience.
One minor drawback was the absence of a television in the room. However, with the availability of two lounges, it wasn't a significant inconvenience.
